Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients:
70 g Chicken (1 breast)
1 carrot
1 onion
3-4 pieces of broccoli
1 zucchini
2 T sesame oil
1 pkt 2 min noodles
Method:
- Chop up chicken into strips
- Place in glass bowl with sesame oil
- Chop up vegetables in julienne strips
- Sauté chicken and onions together. Sauté means to brown.
- Add broccoli and carrots and cook for five minutes.
- Add remaining vegetables of your choice and cook for a further 5 min
- Boil a pot of water
- Place the broken noodles into the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes
- Drain noodles in a colander and add to the vegetable and chicken mixture
- Serve
Pita Pockets
Ingredients:
- 1 pita casing per person
- Lettuce
- Cheese
- Tomato
- Grated carrot
- ¼ onions
- 1 t oil
- Sauces – tomato, BBQ, mayo, hummus, chilli
- 70 grams of chicken or 1 breast per table
Method:
- Sauté the chicken and onions together in a pan with oil, high-med heat
- Chop and grate the vegetables you require
- Place pita pockets in microwave for 20 seconds
- Cut open the pita pocket along the crease
- Stuff pita pockets with required fillings
